Traditional African Beadwork

The jewellery on these pages is made by a co-operative of remarkable women who call themselves the Lafata Project. Not only do they produce intricate beadwork, they also hand paint fabrics for cushion covers and small table covers, make clay pots, raise chickens for eggs and meat, bake and sell over 400 scones every day and on top of all that they feed 62 orphans and vulnerable children after school each day.Visit www.lafataprojects.blogspot.com to learn more about them.
