Leap of Faith

Choko supporter, 23 year old Claire Barrett  took a giant leap for the rainwater harvesting project on Saturday 12th September ~ at three miles up in the wild blue yonder, she launched herself out of a plane!

Claire, who is niece to Choko member Bev Butler, lives in Weston-Super-Mare and works for her local council. She came on the recent trip to Kodumela and was so inspired by the people there that she decided to help them with some  personal fund raising. She set a target of £1000 so there is still time  if you would like to help her reach that you can sponsor her by visiting her page on the Just Giving website ~ click on Donate on the badge below and you will go straight there.

All gift aid collected will go to World Vision and all sponsorship amounts will go directly to the Choko rainwater harvesting project.Claire paid for the jump at Dunkeswell (between Taunton and Exeter) herself so everything you donate will help someone on the other side of the world.

Claire says: Well, I survived the jump! Very, very scary, but definitely an experience! I'm still open for sponsorship, so please dig deep and donate now!
