A stunning success made spectacular by glorious weather! The event took place
at The Laurence Hall, Church Road, Cholsey, Oxon OX10 9PP on Saturday 27th
September 2008. As well as local ales, we were tempting our guests with real lagers, ciders and wine; tea, coffee and soft drinks; sandwiches, snacks and BBQ. There was live music and entertainments for children. We raised
enough sponsorship to cover the whole event which allowed us to maximise profits which will be
shared between the Special Needs Centre in Kodumela and Style Acre, a
registered charity that provides supported living services and day opportunity
services to adults with special needs in the Cholsey area. Information and pictures can be found on the beer festival
